Social Chain under the guide of Co-CEO's Holger Hansen, Steven Bartlett and Wanja Sören Oberhof is the first integrated social media company that uses its world-leading reach, industry-defining marketing capabilities and first-party data, to build and scale owned social media brands.
According to co-founder Steven Bartlett, Social Chain is on a drive to become a global leader in building and scaling owned social-first brands and disruptive social-first media and marketing services.
The Social Chain will, through the issue of shares and cash take majority holding in:
KoRo an online brand for natural products like superfoods and dried fruits.
Solidmind, an established supplier of wellbeing supplements including Hempamed, one of the largest cannabidiol brands in German-speaking regions.
And Urbanara an interior brand that creates natural homewares in timeless designs through the use of natural materials.
It will also acquire Conteam one of Germany's largest owner-operated digital marketing agencies and DRTV.agency a performance-based TV ad agency and advertising studio providing greater clarity on ROI from media spend.
The 5 companies will contribute over €50m in revenue, will see the Social Chain strengthen it's position in health and wellness, natural homewares, media, data and customer acquisition and will lay an important foundation to deliver on an ambitious vision of becoming a global leader in building and scaling owned social-first brands and disruptive social-first media and marketing services.
