Sensible4 raises $7 million to further autonomous driving software for harsh weather conditions

Finnish Sensible4 raises $7 million to further autonomous driving software developed for harsh weather conditions. Series A, led by investors NordicNinja VC and ITOCHU to support expansion in Europe and Asia.

Founded in 2017 by Harri Santamala, Jari Saarinen, Jussi Suomela and Tommi Rimpiläinen. Sensible4 develops software for autonomous vehicles. The company evolved as a spin-off from one of the first mobile robotics research groups in the world. Their revolutionary work with self-driving cars is supported by 30 years work experience in mobile robotics. Sensible4 is the creator of the GACHA autonomous shuttle bus.

GACHA is powered by Sensible 4’s state of the art autonomous driving software and provides a smooth driving experience and access to areas previously inaccessible to driverless vehicles.
