French-born Front raises $59 million for collaborative work email platform

Front is reinventing the inbox so people can accomplish more together, and is raising $59 million in a Series C funding round, to further build their unified inbox platform for teams.

Unified communication

Front founded in Paris in 2013 by founders Laurent Perrin, Mathilde Collin is reinventing the inbox by providing new workflows, efficient collaboration, and unified communication channels. Currently more than 5,000 businesses rely on the Front platform.

Common interest

In a Series C round of funding, Front is raising $59 million from a small consortium of angel investor entrepreneurs, who together share a common interest in next generation work focused business platforms.


Investors include: Atlassian President Jay Simons, Atlassian co-Founder and co-CEO Mike Cannon-Brookes,  Qualtrics co-Founders Ryan Smith and Jared Smith, Zoom CEO Eric Yuan and Okta co-Founder and COO Frederic Kerrest.

Also participating in this round are existing investors, Initialized Capital, Anthos Capital and Sequoia Capital.
